The issue
One of my forums members is reporting that they are no longer able to close the new post box using the x button, and the "You have not posted your reply. Do you wish to discard it?" popup no longer appears. I suspect they have somehow disabled popup dialogues from the forum in their browser using some kind of "do not show again" checkbox (I had them test in another browser and they were able to close the reply box again, so it's definitely browser-related). However, they're using mobile safari, which I have no way to run, so I can't open it up myself and figure out how to reenable popups (if that is actually the problem to begin with).
Unfortunately, the user in question isn't tech-literate enough to do much debugging without more guidance than I'm able to give. Is anybody using safari here who either knows how to fix this issue already, or could check to see if there's some way to disable/reenable popups that might have been accidentally enabled?
