I apologize for this basic question, but I’m new to Flarum, and it’s a bit challenging for me.
Here’s my context:
I’m using Cloudflare (CF) with DNS, and all settings are proxied.
Both SMTP and POP are working, and we’re successfully using SMTP, which indicates that the DNS and mail configurations are set up correctly.
Given this setup, I selected SMTP for Mail configuration in Flarum. I configured the settings as follows:
Encryption: tls
Port: 465
However, when I tried testing the mail, it didn’t work, and I received the following error:
Oops! Something went wrong. Please reload the page and try again.
I would like to know the best practices for setting up mail in Flarum. Unfortunately, I don’t have SSH access in this server and am using cPanel to manage the forum.
