I have no idea what facebooks newsfeed is like in the current age, but I would guess someone posts something and others reply to said post or is this a profile type thing? Meaning people post stuff on your profile like "hey dude, remember to fully explain what you need a feature-set to do 🫣"
I mean if you're looking at discussion with reposes - that a forum, regardless of what Meta calls it - if you are looking at posts against a profile.. that's probably still a forum with a tiny bit more privacy
You might want to sit down and take some time to detail what you want said extension to do (remember not everyone knows what Facebook so maybe use them a as a comparative point for example:
I would like the ability to post a story on my wall that is only for a select group of users and they can comment on my profile posts just like on Facebook Newsfeed
This allows whomever comes to read this in the future to get an understanding of what features you want without having to go near META and its documentation.
