Numbered Lists

It seems that when you do a numbered list that it puts the first number in but when you hit enter nothing happens.. not really helpful to have a numbered list option if you have to keep manually typing each number in? Same with a bulleted list.. Is this just expected and its there just to show you the format so you can do it yourself?

We actually used to have this feature in Flarum 1.0 beta, but it was removed from 1.0 stable release flarum/markdown28

This was implemented with the help of the mdarea library, which had too many bugs and had to be removed. No replacement library was ever suggested or custom implemented for Flarum.
