Trc4 Profiles are public by default. Users can set their profiles to private from their account settings. This only applies to the profile page; discussions and comments are still visible.

A user with a private profile can still have their posts found through search. Sending PMs is still possible.

I don't actually need this extension; I was just trying it out.
I’m not sure, but do you think "likes" should also be included?

Subarist Actually, setting this up is not very difficult; I just don't think everyone needs this extension. It has a rather specific use case. If there is enough demand, I might consider developing the extension.

🚀v1.1: What's Changed

Fixed: Profile Visibility Issue
Fixed an issue where post and discussion counts briefly appeared on private profiles during transitions between the posts and discussions tabs, or when switching directly from a non-private to a private profile route.

The problem has been resolved, and now, if the profile is not private, post and discussion counts load with a slight delay, enhanced by a smooth animation to improve the visual experience. Thanks to @Anonymous65 for reporting this issue!

By the way, don’t forget to clear the cache from the admin panel after the update.

Trc4 Why not? Maybe one day in the future...

For now, I don’t have any plans to develop this extension directly.

It would be great if a Profile could be set to be "Everyone" or "Members" (as I have people who may want their profile to just not be public, but would want other members who are verified by our system to see them). I will bookmark this to see if we find it worthwhile for a bounty.
