Cookie Consent (Cookieyes?)

Hi!
As a European based user, i need a gdpr compatible Cookie consent. FoF Cookie consent does not support this, as cookies need to be customizable.
I configured a cookie consent on CookieYes, but somehow do net get it to work in my custom footer, when I copy-paste this code:

Any Ideas (including my approach or also other approaches) to get a working cookie consent with working opt out options?
It would be so great if flarum had a native support for these features, as the European user base really really needs this to host a flarum community!

Metus24 which extension are you using for custom footer? It might not support javascript.

Try putting the code in Flarum custom header. This value gets inserted verbatim in the HTML of every page.

clarkwinkelmann I tried the built in custom header (and footer) and the "html head items" extension. Neither worked...
Strange thing is, I think I used the same settings when setting flarum up the first time. Then everything crashed (😁)and I had to set it up again... Any other ideas for troubleshooting? Thanks in advance!

/Edit: I had the wrong url. Needed to be the target url. I have a url redirection
