as mentioned in another previous extension request on here, I have a forum that has a very active b/s/t (buy/sell/trade) section. being that there are a lot of threads/discussions created in there, it'll usually knock down other discussions, so people reply to their threads/discussions to 'bump' them to the top of the list to get as many eyeballs on their items being sold as possible.
I'd like to see an extension built that'll limit how often a user can 'bump' their discussion. either by having a button added to the discussion that'll allow them to bump their thread after X minutes/hours/day and it should have a permissions aspect to it so that it can be locked down to allow/disallow certain user groups from using it and only requiring it in certain forum sections.
