Hi, I just created audiiophile forum in croatian language for croatian audiophile community.

I'm pretty satisfied with SEO capabilities of forum. Members tend to complain about some more traditional features like pagination and so on, but it goes pretty well so far.

For badges I use Auto Post Badge extension.

For contact info, I use Custom Html Widget, along with Forum Widgets.

I use FoF Discussion Thumbnail to display first image in discussion instead of avatars by default.

I have started with this one flarum-lang/croatian, and then I added my own translations for missing ones by using FoF Linguist extension. I translated a lot by myself so I might contribute to this translation. I just need to figure out how to do that.

It’s always best to work on translations collectively or publicly whenever possible, for example using a platform like https://weblate.rob006.net/languages/hr/flarum/

I don't know, i m not sure, but i think that is not possible to do it in this way.

AriDoslicson I'm actually using default theme. I haven't even changed default colors. Very little custom CSS. Be conservative with extensions. Some might slow down a forum a little bit. Use only the ones that make sense for your purpose and members.

Thanks! I appreciate your comments about forum. It's going pretty well so far. Love Flarum as platform. Easy to use and pretty fast.

Hi again. So, i have started like i freeforum. And trying to understand how to change things around, with help av chatGPT. 🙂

My first problem is how to remove some of the categories on the left side, and make my own structure, like you did. 🙂 main categories and under categories. And also put som icons.

What do i need for extensions? Is it hard? Do i need to know how to code?

AriDoslicson you have to use default "Tags" extension to setup categories. It is placed in administration area.

How did you get all those nice icons and colors on them?

I have tried to install font awesome but they dont apear. I am using free forum right now, I am not sure if i can change everything, before i pay...
