HasanMerkit Package swiftmailer/swiftmailer is abandoned, you should avoid using it. Use symfony/mailer instead. What about start using symfony/mailer ? My console shows this warning since i only installed Flarum core.
huseyinfiliz HasanMerkit We're advised to ignore this warning. It was mentioned that this issue will be fixed in Flarum 2.0.
luceos Also, why? In technical terms this is an upstream dependency, Laravel uses SwiftMailer in their dependencies. So upgrading to symfony mailer is only possible by upgrading the Laravel components we use. Upgrading Laravel isn't easily done because the whole Flarum code is built for one specific version and as such extensions too. This is why the underlying Laravel can only be and has been upgraded to 11.
