I have recently moved to Flarum and am loving all the new things I can do. My missing item is a "Put your money points where your mouth is" for feature requests.
Forum users are happy to pile on with "great idea" for all sorts of random feature requests, which unfortunately cannot all be fulfilled due to the finite nature of the universe.
What I'd like is
The ability to grant a number of points to users.
Users can then use those points to bid on discussions with specified tags, either in a post or similar to a like
Users should be able to withdraw their points that they've bid on a feature request
If the status of the discussion gets tagged to Implemented, the points should be released back to the user
This would give us an idea of how popular a particular thing actually is by creating a weighting of popularity matching the finite amount of effort available to the finite number of points a user has.
