Custom dynamic pages and users logged in

I just discovered Flarum and it looks great. I'd like to start testing it soon.

I'm currently using Xenforo and have numerous custom dynamic PHP pages with MySQL. I have some PHP code that connects to the Xenforo autoloader which helps me big time.

So my question is (even though Flarum is still in beta), does anyone have any idea if doing this in Flarum will be possible? Because I also use Xenforo's templates a great deal so bottom line is I'm just looking to see how much customizing can be done with Flarum compared to other forum software like Xenforo and Vbulletin.

I'm sure there will be many users that will look for these features as well.

Dynamic pages would certainly be great. Keep in mind that Flarum is a software that consists of a core with only the very core stuff for a forum (discussions, interface, api, etc.), bundled extensions which add the very basics of very forum as toggleable functions and external extensions, since Flarum is meant to be extended this is how most features will be added. There already is a Pages extension which allows you to add static pages to Flarum. Unfortunately it's dev refrained from adding the possibility to add PHP to such pages, as it would impose a much bigger risk (PHP injection attacks and stuff). Maybe he changes his mind? Would certainly be nice to have, if it has been implemented properly. @sijad

Kakifrucht php access from ACP (like wordpress which you can edit theme and plugins in there) is kind of dangerous, let's think somebody found your admin password somehow, he/she almost can do anything with your data. a better solution can be having a command to call a local file (which is only accessible and writeable via FTP) from page (like magento).

Well the main thing that I'm looking for really is the ability to connect to the logged in state that way I could just grab the user's userid, username, etc on my own PHP pages and use it like that. That, plus the ability to have my own pages with friendly URLs similar to that of Flarum's would be great.

In that case, are there plans (or is it possible with extensions) to have a website built around Flarum? I imagine this is something many people will be asking for.

grantus if you mean dynamics page, yes I'll add this in next release.

That would be great. I have many pages that tie into my own database tables so if I can still use my own code that would be amazing.
