Side Navigation Bar on Discussion Page

I am having this issue where I am currently on the Pallet Theme, and was wondering is there an option to remove this side navigation bar that keeps on popping out whenever you are in a discussion page? As the pallet theme has its own side nav bar.

The goal of Pallet Theme is to display the side nav on all pages. There are no options for this.
