There is no shortcut on the permissions page. Once the group has been created, you will have to add it to every single permission in the list, one by one.
Some of the permissions in the list might allow admin-grade access to some features, depending how extensions structured their permissions. You might want to not select every single one.
The "super admin" permission is not visible on the permissions page, so there's no risk to accidentally select it. It's a checkbox in the group edit modal.
A new extension could potentially automate this process or allow a range selection and mass edit on the permissions page.
