Extended Profile

Hi All,

New to Flarum just installed Flarum on a Self hosting package that was fun!

I noticed the information on the users profile is very basic, not even anywhere to type about me, or things like DOB, or tick boxes for interests ect.

Is there a way to change the profile so it is not so basic.

Hey! I'm new here too, but there are extensions that you can make the profile have Social Links, Comments, and more. Look into Flarum's Extensions Directory to get these.

hippiesilk You can also check out the Friends of Flarum extensions, as they introduce alot of profile customisability!

The best way would be to have one sticky post for user profile. I also think that would be the easiest way. If I ever create any extension for Flarum, that would be the first one I would do.

Silvestrus It would be great if each member could highlight or favorite certain discussions for themselves.

A small favorites list that only includes the titles of discussions.

huseyinfiliz yes. That might work too. Even better. It gives more flexibility. And to have that list on the top of their profile page.

Does it have capability for public to see that list on user profile page?

Silvestrus it's been a while since I used it, but I believe it matches your description. There are a few permissions to configure who can see and do what.
