Many users have noticed that after enable this extension forum has become less reactive, PageSpeed Insights shows a delay ranging from 700 ms to 2 seconds (maybe depends on server load)

Stupid question... can I limit the use of api.js to only when user login/registrer?

mafesa It's something I can look into, honestly, I'm not sure if it can be done without a hacky solution, but maybe it's possible. Either way, in my case, api.js is averaging around 50–120ms, 700ms–2s is pretty extreme, so maybe something is delaying its load... 🤔

Darkle probably depends on the load of the Cloudflare servers...
In this forum for example now it is at 770ms

In the evening in my forum instead it reaches about 1550ms...

I don't know, maybe this source code can help you, with reCAPTCHA there is no delay and is loaded only on pages where it is required (login/registration/password).

Are you referring to the error shared by tom23 ? The fact the string blazite-turnstile.forum.error appears instead of a proper message means something went wrong with the language pack loading. It would be strange to only affect specific browsers, it's probably more of a cache issue. Try hard-refreshing the page with SHIFT+F5, or clear the Flarum cache. To help troubleshoot this, are you using multiple languages?

In any case, the fact the error message is properly or improperly translated doesn't change the fact the extension displayed some sort of Captcha error. If you're unable to go past that error, you need to find more troubleshooting information. Are there any message in the forum or server log files? Does Cloudflare keep any log about the Captcha attempts where there might be useful info? Which browser(s) fail the captcha and for which forum page(s)?

Several users have complained to me. The error occurs NOT only when resetting passwords, but also when registering and logging in.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I've deactivated it for now.

Firefox works finde. Every other browser shows an error

FWIW, I had the original Turnstile working until it didn’t. Then I installed this extension when it was announced and had the same problem as above and removed it.

Trc4 nothing, I used it out of precaution but even without it I don’t have any more issues with spammers, we’re just a tiny, almost insignificant piano forum and luckily we’re not interesting to spammers.

Yolo Stezkoy With no way to reproduce the issue, there's really nothing to fix for now. I have 4 Flarum instances with this extension and no problems at all, what's been described, where the issue depends on the browser or internet connection, sounds more like Cloudflare detecting you as a bot than anything extension related... In another case, it could be a Flarum extension conflicting with this one, or even a browser extension (if it only happens in some browsers) 🤷‍♂️.

I checked it on Opera, Edge, and Chrome (Mobile version), and it works well for me. I haven't had any issues so far.
