Installing Flarum on NGINX

Hey,

I installed Flarum using composer on my website, which I manage via Cloudpanel. Flarum is accessible from the www.example.com/public folder, but I want to call it from the domain root. The server runs on NGINX, but I'm struggling a bit with redirection.

Can you help me with this? I put the path in the configuration file that is in the documentation. How do I get Flarum from the root directory www.example.com

mikesovo if your host lets you customize the root property of the nginx configuration, you only need to edit that value to point to the /public folder. And update your config.php with the new URL (without /public after the domain) if you already completed the installation wizard.

The "Customizing Paths" instructions in our documentation are meant for the situation where your host does not let you edit the root value of your nginx config. This is often an issue faced by Apache users, less so by nginx users.
