Extension Idea: Private/Shared Link Access for Posts

Hey everyone,

I’ve been thinking of a potential extension idea that could improve privacy on Flarum. It would be great to have an option where certain posts or discussions are not visible publicly but can still be accessed via a private/shared link.

Core Features:

Posts stay hidden from the public and search engines.

Only accessible through a unique private link (similar to Google Docs "Anyone with the link" feature).

Ideal for sharing sensitive content, beta discussions, or invite-only threads.

This would help moderators, developers, or private communities share discussions without making them public or tying them to user roles.

Would love to hear your thoughts or if someone is interested in building this out!

sabirans04 if you only want to share with specific users or groups that you know at the time of creation, you could use the Byobu extension.

"password" or "token"-protected discussions should be feasible, but I don't think such an extension exists at the moment. Of course you can't rely on just the discussion ID, because those are easy to enumerate.
