You’ve probably seen it, there are countless Facebook groups for SEO (backlink exchanges), but even more common are those people constantly posting their "gigs", promising you top positions on google for $20, and then spamming your dms endlessly.. Let's be real, most of these "services" are packed with low-quality-links, shady pbn networks, or straight-up black hat techniques, and in the long run, using stuff like that will do more harm than good to your websites..
Thats exachtly why i build BacklinkExchange.org, to bring some "order" and clarity into all of this, what really matters to me is creating a space where people actually interact with each other, no shortcuts, no scams, just real conversations and mutual value. My goal is to build a forum where quality matters, where users talk, trade links with care, and help each other grow, i'm also planning a "trusted user" whitelist system in the future, that way, only verified and proven users will be allowed to offer their services commercially, until then, everything should happen on personal and peer-to-peer level, the old school way ^^, either in your own thread or via private messages.

Why I chose Flarum for my forum project:
When i was setting up my forum, i spent a lot of time looking at different forum software options, in the end, i went with Flarum, and the main reason is simple, i really care about clean, elegant and modern design, and Flarum nails that 🙂
What i love most is how minimalistic and user-friendly the whole experience is, its not cluttered with unnecessary features, and that gives it a very focused and welcoming feel, sure, some "basic" things are still missing out of the box, but thankfully, many of those can be added trough extensions. All in all, though, i think Flarum is a fantastic piece of software, i've worked with various other forum platforms on previous projects, but so far, Flarum really stands out for me, its light, modern, and just pleasant to use, both as an admin and as user
