Spam protection for the forum

I think there should be integrated spam protection. Many people use third-party providers, and no one is happy.

I'm looking forward to Flarum 2.0!

Trc4 do you know of any built-in spam protection tool from other forum softwares that we should try to emulate?

It's much easier said than done. A built-in solution is likely to evoluate much slower than a third-party solution, making it less effective.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any integrated ones yet. How about a simple one where you have to answer text messages?

this will be very easily to bypass by the AI or bots 😊

I know about some plugin for Wordpress that use a challange in the browser to check if request are spam or not, this will be a good solution but I'm not a developer and so I don't know how can be applied there.
