IP-address https certificate links don't render as clickable/tappable

Let's Encrypt is rolling out a new SSL-related feature that will ripple through many systems such as Flarum, spurring change to adjust to it.

Here's the issue in a nutshell:

This valid link becomes clickable in Flarum, no problem here:
https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/getting-ready-to-issue-ip-address-certificates/238777
But alas, this valid link doesn't become clickable in Flarum, arguably it should:
https://[2602:ff3a:1:abad:c0f:fee:abad:cafe]/

You can try this and install text formatter. Possible reasons may be that ipv6 does not automatically convert to link.
If not, here are some options you can try:
