notuser 1 delete everything.
2 upload the zip and extract it
3 change the document root to /public
4 visit the Flarum instance and complete install (make sure you have your database info handy)
5 enjoy Flarum.
The Softaculous install is broken as it doesn't point at the correct directory, and even when you contact them, they give you BS and never fix it. Hard avoid.
