Start a discussion button color and title

I have two related questions regarding the Start a Discussion button (upper left side navigation). I am not sure if it some custom coding, CSS, or an extension.

One this site, I see that the color of the Start a Discussion button changes color to match the Hero color of each discussion. How is this done?
Also on this forum, the name of the button is called Start a Discussion on all of the tags, except on the support tags, where the name is changed to Ask a Question. How is this done?

That is native behavior. Unless you have custom CSS that changed it on your end.
