On our forum, we’ve received many complaints from users that once they’re deep into a long discussion, it’s hard to remember or recognize what the thread is actually about — especially on mobile. The discussion title disappears as you scroll through replies, and there’s no clear way to see what the discussion is really about without scrolling all the way back to the top.
This is not an issue on desktop, where there are multiple ways to stay oriented — like the browser tab title, sidebars, and simply having more screen space.
We're already using the "Mobile Bar" extension, which helps improve navigation in general, but unfortunately it doesn't offer any option to display the discussion title either — which would be really helpful in this context.
One idea could be to enhance the behavior of the “24 of 46 posts” link at the top. When clicked, it opens an overlay that already shows the original post. If this overlay also included the discussion title prominently, that might already solve the issue in a simple and intuitive way.

I’ve seen a few discussions here on Discuss about similar problems, but as far as I can tell there’s no proper solution yet. If anyone knows of a workaround, extension, or theme tweak that can bring the discussion title back into view (ideally in the mobile UI), I’d love to hear it.
