Are you referring to a new issue that exists in 2.x but didn't exist in 1.x?
Are you referring to the discussion slug driver? Which one are you using? The default one uses the Laravel slug method for transliteration. The UTF-8 one should use the title verbatim without any transliteration.
Can you provide example text input and output?
