I don't understand the system prompt thing tho, is that something that gets passed to the API too? I don't think i ever used a system prompt before but i've heard about it

Haven't seen any mention of "queues" in the code, there wasn't. Its just API calls

UPDATE: i tested deepseek/deepseek-chat-v3.1:free and it seems to work?

I think it works with the role and instructions parameters.

If I remember correctly, the Flarum Gemini extension had queue support and mention support. Thanks to this, even when using slow AI models, the page wouldn’t take long to reload after starting a discussion — the AI comment would be added later in the background via the queue. Take a look at that.

Also, even without using a queue, I think you could guide the user into the discussion and run the API in the backend.

I wasn’t able to run the :free models on OpenRouter before, but I’ll try again.

huseyinfiliz I was meaning to message you about that specific extension actually. Do you have any desire to revive it? The original developer has been MIA for a long time with no pulse on his own site and github. Installing the extension on PHP 8.4 has been unsuccessful, or may be an underlying extension like the one here that prevented it to be installed. I don't know entirely... But a new life on the extension could be beneficial to make sure continued use and support continues.

I had an error but i had to edit privacy settings on openrouter to allow the api call with that model specified. Free models use ur prompts and u have to permit it

@huseyinfiliz I just tried it and it's not able to retrieve mentioned users from that relationship (using the "posted" event from a post) 😦

Looks like that event gets triggered before actually saving the post or something

KBExit Gemini models can be used via OpenRouter. You can also use your Gemini balance without adding credit to OpenRouter.

It doesn’t charge a fee for up to 1 billion tokens.

KBExit No, you are not transferring your balance. You are only registering the API from Gemini to OpenRouter.

Looks like the AI reply breaks if you don't choose a specific model lol.
Witnessed this during both Gemini and OpenRouter. Had to completely delete the thread and start over.

l write API Key Google (Gemini). And other options not write, be standart. But not working auto reply with asistant. And have a one question, gemini service is free?

Mirzaagha you'll have to go on AI Studio to find that out since Google is always changing their services. To get it working, you need to assign it to a member in the forum and select the model you want to use.

@MichaelBelgium is there anyway you can have it set so the AI doesn't mention digging further into some context? I only have the AI configured to reply to the topic start and it doesn't make any sense to have it ask for a follow up when it won't reply to it anyways lol.
Example:

If you'd like, I can pull up more context on past shutdowns or the budget process.
