Email Limits: Maximum of 10,000 emails per month. Usage exceeding this limit will warrant a plan upgrade.
Storage: Maximum of 10GB total disk space (including software and all content).
Flarum Specifics:
- 3 Extensions maximum on Flarum.
- Pusher and Redis are disabled on this plan.
Essential Features for All:
- Nightly Database Backups: Automated and secure for peace of mind.
- Multilevel Caching for Speed: Local Pagespeed caching + Cloudflare proxy for optimal performance.
- Error-Free Guarantee: I ensure your platform is free from errors that hinder user experience.

🌟 Pioneer Plan - $35/month

Building on the foundation of my Creator plan, the Pioneer plan is designed for growing projects and dedicated creators who demand more power, flexibility, and scale.

Email Limits: Maximum of 20,000 emails per month. Usage exceeding this limit will warrant a plan upgrade.
Storage:
- Ghost: Maximum of 30GB total disk space (including software and all content).
- Flarum: Storage handled via Cloudflare R2 Object Storage, maximum of 300 GB of total space.
Flarum Specifics:
- Install any requested extension. For premium Flarum extensions (which are person-bound per their terms), you'll need to purchase your own license.

Maybe explain more about if it's similar to the Flarum hosting provided by Flarum and that of FreeFlarum is there a list of preset extensions that are installed or can you install your own such as Realtime, etc? These are things possible customers would like to know.

I have reviewed everything. The perk of hosting with Flarum means you get all the bells and whistles including premium extensions. I don't want to directly compete against Flarum themselves. With this being the case, I can reflect my pricing accordingly. But hosting and using Mailgun can get quiet expensive. So I have to keep that in mind as well.
With that being said, I can install certain premium extensions that won't directly compete against Flarum, but I want to reach out to the flarum team to come up with a way to license multiple extensions over and over again that way the creators get their fair share of the cut too. If there is no other way, I may just opt to create a new account everytime to contribute to the creators. I am figuring this out as I go and will do my best to ensure the best quality for the clients and keeping my end up that way I'm not sailing a sinking ship.

With that being said, would you see $300 / yr starting price to be fair? That's 25/mo to include SMTP, hosting, support, etc.

That is definitely a better starting out price point but not everyone may have $300 up front to get started out. So need to keep that in mind also. While it may not sound like much to some people it is when $25-30 a month is much easier to come up with.

Let’s say I wanted to get hosting with you I have an actual license for the Realtime extension does that mean I can’t use it with your service?

Each person needs to have a license. At the managed hosting service we actually do the same, people need to have a license for the premium extension they want enabled. The only exception are our own premium extensions payments and realtime, you get those free, not other premium extensions.

On your stack you would need to do the same thing. There is no platform wide license. We have apis though that can help you understand which extensions are available to which account.

Premium extension subscriptions are meant for people running one or more Flarum installations themselves. Anyone using premium extensions for others, including (managed) Flarum hosting, multi tenant Flarum installations, marketplaces or any other reselling schemes need to resell one license per client. Unless you have a custom plan/agreement negotiated with Flarum BV and the premium extension developer.

KBExit All my services are containerized and isolated for the sake of security that it doesn't play well with Realtime.

We actually do the same thing. You can check in the browser whether the connection is failing, you can check on the daemon running verbosity and/or debug whether connections can be set up. Usually the issue is using the wrong IP for the php host and js host. Pusher will just work, because it doesn't run inside your stack. The configuration thereof doesn't depend on how complicated it is, as long as it reaches their cloud.

ernestdefoe I'll have to take a look into that. From my tests with Realtime, it seems like my configurations don't allow it even with disabling Cloudflare Proxy. All my services are containerized and isolated for the sake of security that it doesn't play well with Realtime.
Redis and everything else works just fine. I can install it for you with your license, but I cannot guarantee stability.
To give you more info about this matter:
In my instances, I have configured Supervisor and confirmed the configurations are running in the background.
Ensured ports are unblocked by Cloudflare's settings and my own UFW.
Ensured Config.php is set up correctly with the relative port. And triggering Realtime itself said everything is configured.
Nothing came up in error logs - yet Index did not update in the given 2 minutes (default) settings.
Pusher however works just fine.
Even configured to disable cache on all aspects and have configured VHost to allow Websocket - no dice.

As far as the price point, I figured members can start out with FreeFlarum if they're wanting to test the waters and I can migrate their stuff over. And once their configuration gets bigger from there, they may entertain to migrate to Flarum's Hosting, or stick with mine and price will grow as such.

I do offer Cloudflare R2 Object storage with all plans. 10GB is included and then every 10 GB after is $3 a month. I may adjust this price too if it's too steep.

That sounds fair on the price. Maybe allow monthly payments for those that don’t have the larger sum to pay upfront and maybe charge like $5 more a month. You said at current price point it comes out to $25 per month like I said maybe do monthly for a slightly higher price. I’m not trying to tell you how to do things just offering constructive ideas.

ernestdefoe a lot of my clients coming from Static Pages have wanted me to obtain their domains and configure it that way, hence why I have yearly.
I'll include that as a clause if they bring their own domain, they can have it monthly and just have to have it pointed to my Cloudflare dashboard, which I can walk them through.
And I understand, I really value your inputs! They're great!
