bump button only shows for admins please fix

BankwayGroup It looks like you haven’t configured the global settings and group overrides.

Set the global setting that’s currently at -1 to a value higher than 0 or 1.

If you adjust the settings under Group Overrides → Members, that should solve the issue.
Make sure you’ve properly configured the settings section.

In the meantime, you can try running flarum cache:clear

If you’re using an additional caching system (like LiteSpeed or something similar), check that as well.

I had added an extra caching layer on top of Flarum’s built-in cache to improve performance, so it’s possible that the frontend isn’t seeing the updated or changed settings.

Also, sharing your list of extensions would be helpful.

BankwayGroup devzahirx3 I did a fresh installation on the address flarum1.huseyinfiliz.com. I installed the bump extension and registered with the username 'test'. I tested every scenario I could think of, and both the changing settings are immediately reflected on the forum frontend, and the bump button works correctly.

I store the extension's settings in Flarum's settings table, like most Flarum extensions, not in its own dedicated table. There is only one table for recent activities, but this should not cause the bump button to be hidden.

The only guess I have is the additional cache layer I added to boost performance, which I had never done in any of my extensions before. Since I cannot reproduce the issue, I am unsure where to look for the solution.

BankwayGroup devzahirx3 Thank you for reporting this issue. It took me a while to review the code thoroughly, but I believe I’ve found the problem!

I’ll release an update to fix this issue soon, but before that, I’d like you to try something:

Go to Admin → Bump → Manual Bump tab → Disable the “Enable Manual Bump” setting and save it. Then refresh the admin page — if the setting appears disabled, re-enable it and save again. After refreshing the page, if the setting appears enabled, the issue should be resolved!

If this fixes the problem, please let me know so I can immediately publish the update.

Issue: Extensions may not save their default settings into the settings table — they only write to it when a setting is changed.

BankwayGroup devzahirx3 I’ve been looking into this issue for several days, but unfortunately, I haven’t been able to make much progress. I haven’t encountered the problem you described in any of my Flarum installations, and even when I tried, I couldn’t reproduce it.

It’s possible that there’s a conflict with another extension on your site. Could you kindly run php flarum info and send me the list of extensions to mysuperuser01@gmail.com
?

Additionally, if it’s not too much trouble, creating a test account for me on your site could be very helpful (it doesn’t require any special permissions). I really appreciate your help and cooperation.

by chance what is the table scheme sql to create the table needed as migration may have failed for me when i bump a admin it works but i check back in extension nothing was recorded

huseyinfiliz they had a similar issue here in https://discuss.flarum.org/d/38283-ai-summarize/3 maybe you can see what @datlechin did to solve it? Seems to be a pattern of some sort. Not tied to you, but something with Flarum itself.
