Anyone Pusher extension?

Hi everyone,

Is anyone here using the Pusher extension on their Forum? I know how to set it up, but I was wondering if anyone has already configured it successfully and got it working — would love to see it in action!

A few questions I have in mind:

Does it support a “typing…” indicator?
Does the UI automatically update for User B when User A posts in the same discussion thread, or does it just show something like “X unread” from the sidebar navigation?
Does it also update the notification count in real time for the receiver(s)?

aolee I use it and all of my customers have it on their sites since it's a service I offer. On the index you can see x updates and on the thread, it automatically populates. I don't recall seeing a typing indicator though.

aolee This forum uses the Realtime extension, and I think that’s what you’re looking for.

KBExit thank you! I forked the stock pusher and pointed to my soketi server and worked like a charm. It doesn't have the typing... indicator though but maybe simple to add, not sure yet.
