Retcon01 yes, to introduce monthly pricing and allocate DEDICATED RAM and CPU, I have to change my modeling structure. This ensures that you GET those resources as promised and not having to fight in a shared environment. I tried to keep things as cheap as possible to make it appealing to clients, but I also need to make a sustainable model to even offer such service to begin with.
I do offer LIMITED Lifetime subscriptions, if you're interested in that. At $500 one time fee, this pays itself off in 4 years.
I do want to say that even at a $10 or $20 / mo subscription, I am still extremely affordable compared to other hosting solutions for discussion sites using Flarum or even Discourse. Additionally, if you want something extremely Cheap, PikaPods is an alternative, but you're the one orchestrating a huge chunk of it and if something breaks, its on you. I am unsure if they fixed their Extension Persistence issue, but my services guarantee everything just works. You also need your own third party email subscription, whereas mine comes standard.
Another option is FreeFlarum which is 100% free but with limits. It is a generous service.
Other Options are GlowingBlue and Flarum's official, but their prices are steeper than mine.
