@Forogramero I think your question and @Silvestrus question can both be answered by the Ad Units Extension. I believe both are custom HTMLs and I am pretty sure you can set ads to be displayed by user levels, and in this case, it's just custom HTML Scripting. Clever use of it if it is that, otherwise, I would be REALLY interested to know what the underlying script itself is, if it's pulling directly from Flarum.

Thanks for the nice comments. @Silvestrus and @Forogramero, none of these were accomplished via an extension. I created stand-alone scripts that do both of these. Of course the behave differently for logged in users. I have also created other scripts that change the Title after a user posts to Title Case. Another that creates random avatars for users who just signed up without a custom avatar...it also pretties up the case of the username and nickname (for consistency). There are also several other custom script running behind the scenes.
