Suppose that, like me, you reset your smartphone to factory settings. And you forgot that you had GitHub Mobile connected there, which you had set as the only recovery method — and of course you didn’t save the recovery codes on your laptop. And now you’re trying to restore access to GitHub and Packagist via email 😅
It’s possible that recovery won’t work. But you’re lucky that all your repositories are public, so you can fork them to a new account. I’ve learned my lesson. But one question remains — will the translations from the old extensions carry over to the new ones, and will I need to do anything else? I will update all the links 👀
