So first off, I'm new here and this is my first post 😊
I have decided to dedicate 2026 to start some long term project ideas and first I wanted to create a platform to host a blog and forum. After a bit of research I came across Flarum and it looks like the perfect fit for my ideas.
The first one is a bit weird, one of my projects has a requirement to have a central place for all my users across Flarum, Youtube, Discord etc.. Because of experience working in IT, I am familiar with Windows Active Directory, and with that my first weekend project was figuring out how to sync users from Flarum into Windows Active Directory... Anyway, I have made a post about how I have done this which you can look at here if you like.
I'm keen to learn more about Flarum, its community and the people who are a part of it.
