PWA on android - double notifications after new domain

Hi,

I had flarum running at home for testing. Now I took the database and moved the forum elsewhere and got a new domain name for it. I had installed the PWA extension for it ("askvortsov/flarum-pwa": "*",). After the new instance with imported database, I removed the android Firefox PWA app from phone. Then went to new address, and re-installed the PWA.

Now after each post, I get two notifications for new topic in android. Both with the old domain name, and the same notification with the current domain.

How to clean up the old domain notifications? Do I need to tweak the DB domehow?

ikkeT hmmm. I would go to the PWA Extension and hit Purge on the top right. This should CLEAR everything out and you can start new.

ikkeT are you sure this has got something to do with your Flarum installation? Might it be the case that you have installed the PWA app twice on your device (or have enabled web push notifications in the browser which is possible on Andoid) and just have forwarded the old domain to the new one so you now receive them twice on your device?

Could be that, it would make sense. I don't know how to erase any such settings from FF, so I just wiped all the FF caches and visited addresses et all. I need to wait for new posts now and then see.

I wiped all caches from my firefox, and reinstalled the pwa. Now it notifies only once. So you were right, mobile end fault.
