Themes Playground

It would be highly beneficial to have an official Themes Playground or a live demo site for actively maintained Flarum themes. This would allow users to see them in action and test their responsiveness before deciding to install them, providing a much better experience for both forum owners and developers. Would the community find such a centralized demo site useful for exploring current design options?

are there any themes? ive seen a few flarum forums that uses their own design. after years im finally trying to make some design changes for my forum. (thanks to the help of ai lol)

dragsugur you can find theme here https://discuss.flarum.org/t/themes but it's not great to navigate, compare, and select a theme... this proposition would be a better way to see them in action

I think each theme would require its own instance of Flarum.
I'll think about adopting this to host on my servers.

Update.
The dilemma... This will take up resources that could be targeted for future clients. I can spin up a couple flarum instances and then hyperlink them together. But it's not justifiable in my point of view. I need to figure out an alternative. Would be easier if someone would just make a theme toggle extension and I can build and host the site.

KBExit that's actually very good idea, to have theme extension selector, like we have now for light and dark theme. You're on something that makes sense.

Silvestrus I think this would be the simplest approach, and honestly, it's always been available in other software like vBulletin, SMF, phpBB, etc. lol
I don't know how complex it would be to design, but I think it can then just be added to Discuss and we can play with themes directly on the Flarum Site. Maybe even have it pass an audit score for compatibility to be able to showcase.

I would be more than interested in putting my application in as a MOD to ensure this gets done correctly here.

@KBExit this extension may help but not sure. If it does you could setup a Flarum instance and then install the themes and people could switch to different ones to see them.

Yes, the theme switch extension route is the best solution, I think.
