How to make discord-like instead forum?

Is there any way to make it more like discord instead of forum/discussion?!?? or no? Because I wanted to make it like discord or chat room instead of forum. if so, please show me how! Thanks!

nyeqwwq56 why are you opposed to using Flarum the way it is? Or, why are you opposed to using Discord?
If you're wanting a more chat like system, Mautic or Rocket.chat are probably more suitable for you as a discord alternative.
Otherwise, you might find the organization of a forum more intuitive long-term.

nyeqwwq56 fundamatally Flarum is not built as a chat. If you are really looking into a chat-like system then you might find some limitations. If you want the features of a Forum but want it to feel live (refreshing without the user needed to reload the page) then it's best that you look at the extension called "Realtime" - which will be part of Flarum v2 - this allows you to use websockets which allows people to get instant updates within discussions and on the forums main page.

But since you mentioned "paid," I am going to assume you're running on FreeFlarum which has limitations to begin with.

nyeqwwq56 you're going to have to ask FreeFlarum support, not here. This is for support on the Flarum software itself. FreeFlarum has a lot of limits and you'd have to talk to them instead.
If you selfhost or get a managed hosting for Flarum, you get more freedoms.

For the record 😁: Matrix is very good for managing chat rooms. Federeted, choose your instance of host your own. Plenty of clients to choose from. Mobile apps and web and desktop GUIs. If you are looking for a discord like chat open source version.
