Flarum and upgrading

Hello. I’m thinking of using Flarum for a new project but I’ve seen posts about flarum v2. I’m not overly confident with installing Flarum but I can do it. My question is, when the new Flarum comes out (v2), will it be difficult to upgrade? I don’t want to work on a site for it to break.

chrisc297 you can upgrade the software itself by utilizing composer via ssh. To keep things from breaking, only install extensions that are actively being developed on for v2. You can tell easily which ones are and which ones aren't just by looking at their GitHub Repositories. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask 🙂
