Flarum Theme Showcase

Hello everyone!
Recently, we had a little discussion of wanting a showcase website for Flarum themes and since I host various communities, I am extending some resources out of my servers to host this project.

After some sleepless nights, I have created Flarum Themes by Link Robins and you can view it at: https://flarum.linkrobins.com/

Currently, I have:

FoF/nightmode - Dark / Light Toggle
Default Flarum
Confix (Confirmed 1.8.11)
OXO (Confirmed 1.8.11)
.... more

I am working on porting some other themes currently.

Unfortunately, Pallet is not included in this currently as I need to provision an entire ecosystem just for that design. The theme is too complex to work on my system. To be honest with you, 90% of my sleepless nights was because of this design.
Don't worry, in a couple days I should have a fully working Pallet demo site.

All of this is funded by clients of Link Robins. Tips to keep the showcase sites updated and online are appreciated 🙂

Update: current method is unreliable. Damn 🙁

KBExit I can’t see a button for switching themes. Do I need to register for this?

huseyinfiliz it should load between the post order button and the refresh button above discussions.
If you don't see it there, maybe ad block? It's pulling via JS from GitHub. When you first visit the site, you'll see a drop-down with "Default"

KBExit Yes, you’re right, the issue was caused by the JavaScript coming from GitHub being blocked. I fixed that, but I still ran into some issues when switching between themes, such as problems with dark mode. Have you tried doing this with a theme switcher extension that includes the themes LESS files?

huseyinfiliz right now the themes are being loaded from LESS being converted to CSS and injecting to the header.
I don't know how I'd load the actual LESS and make this function the way you mention 🤔

An error occurred while trying to load this page.

I'll check the logs tomorrow.

I'm really looking forward to seeing a working demo of the pallet theme as I may consider using it for when I move my large site over from mybb in the near future (hopefully).

It appears my methods are unreliable. I'm stumped.

Update: I think I have found a solution. Will be working on it tonight.

andrewjs18 I will say from having used it you are pretty much limited to what you see. The afrux widgets extension doesn’t work with it. Like I said what you see is what you get. While an awesome theme you can’t do much with it.

Hey guys, I am so sorry. I thought I was building something that would be reliable and honestly work well. But it seems that my efforts are hitting a wall.
Sorry to disappoint. I am going to put this project on indefinite pause. Was very short lived I know 🙁

KBExit thanks for trying. Theming Flarum is currently still a very custom job. This is certainly something to look at for future releases of Flarum.
