The issue

I'm going through my forum to see how I can improve SEO. I found this in Google Search Console.

6K+ of your forum pages are missing discussion forum structured data

Granted, I'm not using the latest version of Flarum (see below). Is this something that has been addressed in a new version? Or is there something that can be done to improve SEO?

Flarum version 1.8.5 (so a few versions old by now)

Walid I just tried installing it on a local instance, and boy, I'm lucky I didn't install this in production. After installing, I got greeted with a full Flarum update, wanting me to log in to the database in order to proceed, what the heck? I have thousands of daily users on my forum, so this is not great. When I do a big software update on Flarum, and can give this another go (which I should actually do).

MikeLundahl everytime you update flarum you either can update the database to run migrations through the webinterface (not the recommended way) or you run php flarum migrate.

GreXXL Thanks! That I knew already 🙂 . My comment was more about the surprise that installing an extension could trigger a Flarum update. When doing a larger forum update (along with a bunch of extension updates), I'd like to notify my users first to give them a heads-up and block out some time for troubleshooting, in case there's any downtime.
