Best approach for creating custom User/Post rankings via PHP/MySQL?

Is there a way to code a custom page using MySQL, JS, and PHP (and CSS) that queries the database to create bespoke rankings for users and posts, without it having to be a formal extension? I want to ensure I can build these custom metrics while keeping the setup independent from the core extension system.

Forogramero Yes, it's possible. You can establish a SQL connection using a PHP file you add to the public/root directory. This connection can also function independently of Flarum.
