stryguardian Once the award is activated, it remains visible to users until the start date, but voting is disabled. This is similar to a draft state but visible to members. After the end date, it behaves as 'ended' for members; they can no longer vote or view results (unless live voting is enabled).
If the status is set to 'Draft,' it will not automatically activate when the start date arrives. Instead, you must set a start date and manually switch the status to 'Active.' This allows administrators to make experimental adjustments freely while in the draft stage. Furthermore, managing scheduled tasks is challenging in Flarum 1.x, whereas it is much more streamlined in 2.x.
