KBExit xa_sharma I sent you a reply back. Which do you prefer? PM here or email? This way we don't have 2 forms of communication that gets confusing.
KBExit Perhaps someone with more experience with cPanel can chime in? I don't use such infrastructure and find it to be very bloated. I don't think the issue lies within their Flarum Installation, rather cPanel being a hog instead.
Capybara KBExit I’m using ispmanager. For both platforms, it’s recommended to have a server with at least 2 GB of RAM. That’s the only advice I can give
ernestdefoe KBExit cPanel is a major resource hog but it is convenient for those that have no clue about the inner working of webhosting. No control panel software like cPanel, Plesk, etc aren't easy on resources and can bottleneck a VPS/Dedicated server quick. I get the reason for them but in recent years all of them have become so bloated that the minimum recommendation for CPU/RAM have gone up considerably.
KBExit ernestdefoe that's crazy, and considering you have to purchase a license on top of a higher VPS tier required. This is not budget friendly at all lol. Situation at hand is so complicating right now as OP has strict requirements with hosting outside of the US and the higher costs associated with everything they want. I find offshore hosting to be very skeptical as one bad actor with certain materials can take down the entire host with no consumer protection for those that are legally abiding..
ernestdefoe KBExit Hasn't been since cPanel got bought out by a different company several years back. They used to have a reasonable pricing structure (mainly based on VPS or dedicated server) but now you only get so many sites/clients without having to sell your first born. Since then it has become so bloated it's unreal. Plesk is still fairly reasonable on price compared to cPanel. There are free panels out there but most lack modern features and are behind in PHP versions and such.
KBExit ernestdefoe corporate greed. I want to help @xa_sharma the best I can but I don't know the best approach in their scenario. Between the most reliable offshore host and best server configuration.
ernestdefoe KBExit Situation at hand is so complicating right now as OP has strict requirements with hosting outside of the US and the higher costs associated with everything they want. I find offshore hosting to be very skeptical as one bad actor with certain materials can take down the entire host with no consumer protection for those that are legally abiding.. Well that's the nice thing about offshore hosting as there isn't much that can bring down a site or a host. They are in countries that don't recognize copyright laws and the such and as such don't have to respond to DCMA notices and the like.
KBExit ernestdefoe I remember an instance to where an entire host was shutdown overnight due to one client website hosting CSAM on offshore host. That's my biggest concern. One bad apple taking down the entire forest.
xa_sharma ernestdefoe Yes DMCA or offshore hosting is good but we follow every rule and remove every DMCA content after getting any complaint Actually i need help in making the site fast ... or help me in migrating the server from one VPS to another VPS ... can anyone please help me ...
ernestdefoe KBExit To me as of late Plesk is much easier to work with and is cheaper so talk with @xa_sharma about maybe going with Plesk as opposed to cPanel. Another option is to use something like Laravel Forge or Ploi (Ploi has a free tier with limitations) it's not a web based GUI like cPanel/Plesk but you can manage via a web interface. With Forge and Ploi you have to have a fresh server install with nothing else and it will reinstall and install the bare components to run a webserver. The only catch is there is no mail server with it. They would need to use a 3rd party company like Brevo or something similar. https://forge.laravel.com/pricing https://ploi.io/pricing I like Ploi as it has pretty much all the features of Forge and is cheaper.
KBExit Unfortunately after consulting legal advice, I am no longer engaging in this conversation due to DMCA. If anyone can help @xa_sharma please chime in. xa_sharma Actually i need help in making the site fast ... or help me in migrating the server from one VPS to another VPS ... can anyone please help me
