Need help with CSS

I want the marked area in this picture to be white.. Top to bottom needs to be white..
Can someone help?

change it to

background: white;

But, that will change the whole background. If you need to modify the part you mentioned, you will have put White in bottom area of the image. I don't think it can be done using CSS.

MarekSchmidt You should be able to do this, I think, by styling the .container:after element.
