Features not working after redirecting from public

I redirected my forums from mydomain.com/public to mydomain.com following https://docs.flarum.org/install#customizing-paths but after this i can't:

uploaded avatars are broken, i checked folders permissions it is 755
can't enable night mode
fof night mode extension breaks site

however site is working well in fuctionality

any help appreciated thanks

TCH instead of customizing the path, I personally recommend installing it via document root printed to /public instead. This is a straightforward install that just works.

I've reverted the changes I made to redirect from public to domain URL, all problems resolved magically. 😀
