What do I need to get video embeds working

This is a MUST for my forum otherwise it's a failure.

Right now the only thing I get is a url. So, what must I install to make videos display?
Please give me the links to the extensions.

Sorry, I should have clarified that better. I didn't mean to say that flarum is a bad project.

What I meant to say is that it will be a failure FOR ME. Because if I can't get video embeds working then I've got to start over and look for a different solution.

I need embeds to work at all costs.
Tiktok and Youtube are priority but ideally it should be able to handle an embed from any source.

JoleneP ah gotcha. I was taken back because in another thread you had distaste towards the install method and then I saw this one.
The extension I linked should handle YouTube. But YouTube tends to change things up all the time. We witness this being an issue that needs resolved after a couple of years in many web softwares lol. But on the other hand, I have no idea about TikTok. I personally don't use it. I get sent TikTok videos all the time and when I tap them, TikTok usually wants me to register first but that's a no from me.

Don't take my words too seriously. I'm just really frustrated with everything Internet.

I could write a entire book on the insanity that I've had to deal with the past year but I'm certain that none of it would be compatible with the standard paper, grok will flag it as misinformation and some government will want me to verify everyone's ID.

Hopefully the Tiktok doesn't become a problem.
Is there an easy 'iframe' option? Ideally something that provides a simple button for users drop their code in.

It worked !
Youtube displayed and Tiktok did too.

Although the Tiktok is a little 'off' in how it's displaying and performing but that might be my Internet connection. I'll try again later.

Just one last thing!

It looks like I'm going to need an IFRAME solution for a few other platforms. Sites like Doodstream are great for busting censorship but suck at imitating Youtube and Tiktok.

What extension do you recommend?

JoleneP do you explicitly need it to be playable in the post? Or would grabbing the thumbnail suffice?

There are 2 options if thumbnail and page description is enough. 1 option is a premium extension, and the other is a free one.

A thumbnail 'might' work but it really should be playable in the post.

The problem is 'people' are lazy and fickle. They want everything directly available and in their face or they turn into worthless traffic. (My apologies if I'm sounding snide... It's not my intention)
