Avocado is a refined custom theme for Flarum designed to bring a modern and polished aesthetic to your community. Forked from the popular Asirem theme by Afrux, Avocado builds upon that foundation with new features like hero banners, enhanced tag styling, and integrated share functionality.

✨ Features

Hero Banner — Upload and position a custom banner image at the top of your forum (auto-scaled to 1400px and converted to WebP for performance).
Tag-Based Styling — Discussion list items are styled with tag colors and unread indicators for better visual organization.
Integrated Share Button — Uses the native Web Share API on mobile with a clipboard fallback for desktop users.
Action Icons — Optional Font Awesome icons on Like and Reply buttons for a more intuitive UI.
Custom Tags Page — Custom tile and cloud view for the tags page.
V1 Search Bar Toggle — Switch between the classic dropdown search and the default Flarum modal.

New feature to improve readability in long discussions: sticky avatars during scrolling, inspired by Discourse and tailored for the Flarum layout.

Admin Controls:
Toggle this feature on or off directly from the extension's admin panel—no coding required.

Option: Enable sticky avatar effect on discussion posts.

Type: Toggle (On/Off).

Scope: Forum discussions (Desktop focused).

Since this was originally for personal use and I've now decided to share it with the community, I haven't involved any extensions yet; I'm strictly working within the Flarum V2 core.

Flarum needs more themes. For example, I’d like the left column to be fixed and not move. I want the home page or main feed to have the look and feel of X (Twitter) or Bluesky—something similar to social media. I’d also like to see columns on the right showing the most viewed discussions of the day, week, month, and year (we already have 'most commented,' but show the discussion of all time of the entire forum). Maybe this should be on a separate page called 'Trending.'

Honestly, Flarum’s current look is very modern and fast. I can't complain.
