How can I solve the problem when there are too many tags?

I have encountered the following issue: I am creating a project on Flarum that requires a large number of tags (more than 1000). However, because they do not all load at once, the site performs poorly. Is there any way to fix this problem—any solutions or extensions?
I would prefer not to move away from Flarum, as I really like it. Please help me solve this issue.

There are 250 main tags in total, but each of them should also have about 100 child tags structurally.

Can the use case perhaps be better served by Taxonomies? https://discuss.flarum.org/d/30499-flamarkt-taxonomies

Perhaps you could give us a bit more detail on the themes / use case. Flarum Tags UI is definitely not designed for so many tags, but there should be solutions.

The project will include 250 main tags, each having around 50–100 child tags (in some cases about 10). The reason I’m organizing them as tags is because I want users to be able to subscribe to them and follow updates—this is the core idea, and without it the project cannot work.
I also cannot reduce the number of tags. At best, I could reduce the number of child tags to about 20 for each main tag.
It’s an interest-based forum—this idea has just emerged, and I need your help to bring it to life.
