Prevent fade-in of DiscussionPage-list when cursor is on the far right

flavour1

Is there any way to disable the automatic fade-in of the DiscussionPage-list?

Some of my forum users are annoyed by the fade-in/fade-out when accidentally moving the cursor on the far right of the window.

Intended behaviour:
The header-navigation (Navigation ButtonGroup, Navigation-back Button) should still fade in the sidebar when hovering on it, but not the whole right area of the Page DiscussionPage.

flavour1 sorry, I don't understand what you're referring to.

I guess they might be referring to the quick access discussion list that gets shown when moving the cursor to the left hand viewport border while viewing a discussion.
I am not aware of any setting or extension to influence this behaviour.

So like this...

But it's on the left and it's not the full page...
@flavour1 do you have a custom theme?

Flarum Version 1.x

@media (min-width: 768px) {
 .affix .DiscussionPage-list {
    display: none;
  }
.hasPane.panePinned  .DiscussionPage-list{
    display: block !important;
  }
}

Flarum Version 2.x

@media (min-width: 768px) {
 .affix .DiscussionListPane {
    display: none;
  }
.hasPane.panePinned  .Page-pane .DiscussionListPane{
    display: block !important;
  }
}

The DiscussionPage-list is displayed when the pin is activated (clicked)

Karl But it's on the left and it's not the full page.

Pardon me! I sometimes mix this up… (which makes me a bad co-driver) – of course I mean the other right aka "left" 😇

exactly! Thank you so much for this Tutrix Besten Dank!!!
I noodled around with css and js in the header yesterday and came close, but not to such an elegant and simple solution.
