Hello 🙂
I haven’t migrated my main forum to v2.x yet. There is still one extension to make compatible and a few bugs to fix. But I wanted to write this message to thank and encourage the whole team behind Flarum.
I chose Flarum three years ago and I’ve never regretted it. I really appreciated the fact that it’s light, free and compatible with many servers (which isn’t the case with Discourse, for example, at least at that time).
I was very excited when v2.x was announced. And now that I see the result, I was right to be. I know the development hasn’t been easy, but congratulations because, despite a few bugs that still need fixing, it works very, very well !
But more importantly, I really appreciated the fact that the team listened to us and communicated with us. It’s not much, but it motivates us a lot to help you and to stick with you.
The team isn’t big, but you’re very efficient. Really, well done.
Also, you’ve hired the right people in FoF. And you’re supporting more extensions, which is brilliant. FoF is very important for the durability. Personally, more than 95% of my extensions are supported by FoF.
During the beta phases, thanks to the team, I learnt a lot about things I’d never used before. Thanks to that, I was able to unlock more potential from my forum. Honestly, it was a real pleasure to have taken part in the beta – something I wasn’t able to do when v1.x was released
Very happy.
In fact, even though I haven’t got the badge yet, I’ve taken the lead on the French translation of Flarum. I’d like to thank @Qiaeru and @rob006 for their trust, and I hope to carry out my mission successfully.
Thank you all. So much. Congratulations again for the release of v2.x!
