Guest CTA — Convert visitors into members

Replace external links from guests with a login prompt and inject a Login / Sign Up CTA card between posts.

Features

Hide links for guests — Replace external links inside post bodies with a lock-icon pill that opens the Login modal when clicked. Internal links (mentions, discussions) are left untouched.

Guest link gating

Join CTA between posts — Insert a Login / Sign Up card after a configurable post position (#1 to #5). Visible only to guests.

A note on Avocado

This extension is the first step in splitting the Avocado theme into smaller, focused extensions. Guest-link gating and the post-CTA card used to ship bundled inside Avocado — they now live as a standalone package so any Flarum forum (not just Avocado users) can install just what they need.

I plan to gradually move more Avocado features into individual extensions over the coming releases. Feedback and feature requests welcome.

One remark, the toggle in admin "Show Join CTA after first post for guests" would probably need a different phrase: "Show Join CTA after a certain number of post for guests"; as this leans into the functionality dropdown 1 - 5.

Edit: I noticed the link text is also replaced when they are actually not just raw text, eg

The [World Health Organization defines burnout](https://www.who.int/news/item/28-05-2019-burn-out-an-occupational-phenomenon-international-classification-of-diseases) as ...

Becomes:

The [log in to view link](https://www.who.int/news/item/28-05-2019-burn-out-an-occupational-phenomenon-international-classification-of-diseases) as ...

Would it somehow be possible to rewrite these like this?

Otherwise the text breaks and the context of the whole post can no longer be followed.

Improvements

Setting "Show Join CTA after first post" renamed to "Show Join CTA after a certain number of posts", matching the existing position selector (1–5).

Fixes

Gated links in posts now preserve the original text. Previously [WHO defines burnout](url) as... became [log in to view link](url) as..., breaking the sentence. It now reads WHO defines burnout (🔒 log in to view link) as....
Raw URL links (where the link text is the URL itself) are still replaced wholesale by the placeholder, to avoid leaving long URLs in the middle of the prose.
