Extension Ideas

Since I have automated much of my support site and currently only working on Floxum audit fixes and bug reports currently I am looking for ideas for new extensions. I want to continue giving back to this community by releasing new and exciting extensions not seen here before. So what are some of your best ideas? The ones with the most votes will be made first.

Another idea: an extension for running contests / game jams. Various formats for judging, scoring, submitting entries, and all that kind of thing. But this would need more thought, since there are many nuances.

ernestdefoe I had an idea to create an extension that would allow administrators to choose how group labels are displayed. On the avatar, like the default Flarum style, around the avatar, next to the avatar as a circle, next to the avatar as a badge, below the avatar, or hidden entirely. Separate settings for desktop and mobile views.

People on Discuss often ask how to change the design of group labels. There are similar extensions, but they usually only provide a single alternative style. I just haven't had the time to work on this extension yet — I'm currently taking a short break and focusing on updates for my forum

Capybara I would also add a display of labels for pinned discussions and polls. They could be placed somewhere near the discussion title, I guess.

Tutrix this one is actually in progress on my side... fof/cookie-consent for 2.x is getting a complete overhaul, as well as integration with fof/analytics, etc

I got the projects extension built. I will polish it more and I’m gonna take a break from building extensions for public use and continue to support what I have and add features bug fixes etc but I think that’s it for awhile.
